Planning for Life Transitions: From the Sandwich Generation to the Golden Years.
Discussion of key life transitions that can greatly impact families, including financial and legal issues, reducing the risk of memory problems with aging, options for quality end-of-life care, and ways to reduce the stress of relocation. Nursing, Nursing Home Administrators and Social Service CEUs provided.
Location: Parish Center, Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 211 West Charlotte Ave., Punta Gorda.
Cost: Free to general public. $20 for those seeking Continuing Education Credit.

2nd Annual Caregiver's Forum, How Do We Care for Ourselves While Continuing to Care for Others
Keynote speaker is nationally known Gary Berg, Editor-in-Chief of Today's Caregiver magazine and co-author of the new book The Fearless Caregiver: How to Receive the Best Care for your Loved One and Still Have a Life of Your Own. This forum will bring new insight, information and hope to those professional and family caregivers who yearn to revitalize their lives. Registration requested by March 8.
Location: Senior Friendship Centers, Inc., 1900 Brother Geenen Way, Sarasota
Cost: $15 for caregivers and those not seeking continuing education credits. $30 for those seeking CEUs (available to Nurses, Social Service providers). Those who register after March 8 will be charged an additional $5 fee.
